Doing Small Business, and Get more lucky!

My God...almost 3 months I left this blog! Actually I have another blog also, so I am pretty busy to care my all blogs. Beside that, lately I am busy with my small business.

What’s kind of that business? Last month I decided to join the dbc-network. What's that? I’m sure almost all people knows it! Well, it's a multi-level marketing (MLM) for body care products from SWEDEN which’s very well known in this country: ORIFLAME. Haha .. I know people must have been antipathy to hear word “MLM”! 

Honestly, in the beginning me too! And you know? I decided to join in this business after going through  along-long... consideration, really! I've often read on the blog about this business, and already many ads everywhere. But my heart has not been reacted. Well, because of doubts over the promises of MLM was that!

But then, one day in mid-May 2012, suddenly I read a blog of sweet and simple housewife – Mbak nidya- who currently can achieve Gold Qualifier Director ... and get income reached 11 million / month *** slurrrrppp * **. 

Like me, she also was skeptical of this business at first, does it really make someone succeed? and initially well ... full of challenges: rejected friends / relatives, etc.  Very underestimated.  

After reading her blog, I changed my mind! I thought: why don’t try anyway?  Whether it’s success or not that's up later! (I am a person who does something relax but still a lot of praying! Hehe).

Thus finally, ... I join the dbc-network around the date of May 10, 2012.  When I joined, Oriflame was celebrating their 45th Anniversary! so I only paid registration Rp9.900 (normally Rp39.900) Do I really lucky? Yes! Beside I get free product in the same time!

After I joined their FB, I really was a lot of supports from the leader and other fellow consultants. Bottom line: We'll never be left alone! In the dbc-network we are one, in happiness and sadness!

Besides the support of fellow leaders and consultants, there are many interesting from this business! we are given a free product! – ofcourse terms and condition do exist!   But it’s not as hard as you think! That terms and conditions would spur us to get  the spirit of doing business!. Like yesterday, when I seems being lazy, my leader knew it! (Note: our activity can be monitored automatically through the website Oriflame!)  then, just to get my spirit up, my leader promised to give me a free product and a person as my downline! As a result ..my spirit was back, got free product and downline!  

Honestly, I used to be not a connoisseur of Oriflame products. Sometimes I just buy a lipstick! But since I joined this business and got a lot of free product, now I think I love it !  Yesterday I tried to buy a body lotion this is:

after using it, my feet which before dry and scaly, become so soft again! (It’s true! not just a promotion or advertisement!).  

So ... I can say that I am not sorry to join the dbc-network!  I can enjoy the products, and someday, if I work harder than now- Insyalloh - I will get a millions salary like Mbak Nidya!

Mommy, don't cage me!

Wohoo.... seems I look like a horrible mommy!
No, ofcourse not ! this is my daughter's way to have fun. She likes to try something new.
My sista' , a couple months ago gave me a cage for her ex-cat.
I originally wanted to use this cage for next rabbits. But since my hubby said  rabbits which we bought got lost twice, and we always did'n't care about them, my hubby said 'no' to buy it again!
So...finally, that cage become a place for Jasmine playing 'hide and seek' with me!

Health is the most precious gift !!

What is the most precious gift in your life? for me, 'Health' !! Some people generally will have just realized it after they got sick! Nothing can compares it! You can buy a car, a house, or maybe hundreds hectare land...but those are nothing compared to Health ! And I have just agreed last week when my whole family got sick in the same time! Specially Jasmine! She got Typus scale 4. She had to stay for 5 days in hospital. While I was also getting flu! But  in order to care my baby, I forgot my pain, I tried to be healthy! 

Now, Alhamdulilah...everyone is being healthy! Seems Pain is just shock therapy from God. He asked me to do the best as human! Not only wealth, but also pains!

God has given us health body, use your healthy time for something usefull: studying, worship, helping each other. Use your healthy time before pain coming!

Karimata Resto (Part I)

Me and my husband is liking to have lunch in a resto located at Sentul area: Karimata Resto. This resto is exactly in front of exit toll Sentul Selatan. Their special menu is Ikan bakar Patin dalam bambu. Very delicious, spicy, packaged in banana leaf which put into bamboo. Smell is good: Grill fish in bamboo!

If we wanna have a lunch over there, better we have reservation first. Because of so many visitors  in the lunch time, and you have to wait untill there is available place for lunch. I had ever come without booking. We should have waited around a half hour. Be patient! said my sista'. My worm stomach was singing along waiting time. I was so hungry! I had imagined that I would eat grill fish in bamboo. Yummy..

Next time, I will tell you more detail about this resto and show you a picture of Fish in bamboo...(or you can visit their sites HERE ).

Imlek in Royal Safari Garden Hotel

As I ever told you that the Royal Safari hotel is our favorite place for staying in Puncak Bogor. And that happened in Imlek Vacation last week. Me and my big family stayed 2 nights at Royal Safari hotel. Starting from Saturday on 21 January  untill Monday on 23 January 2012. We know that this was an umpteenth time we stayed here. But We never feel bored. Because of having comfortable place and complete facility (you can find all place for any kinds of sports). Only one which doesn't like there: their food is not delicious! Well, we don't bother about that, cause we can find another resto around hotel. Across there is Sate H. Kadir. This Sate is very famous in Puncak area. Taste of this food is very delicious, whether it is sate or soup kambing! But If you don't like sate or soup kambing, you can walk into besides hotel and find Pecel Lele, Ayam bakar and so on. I'll bet you will not being a bum, just because you can't eat anything! hehe..

The most I like in this hotel is: every morning we can walk around, playing badminton or basket ball or table tennis, swimming in water splash, and riding bicycle. Or maybe you will try riding camel or elephant? welcome!! For who has children or baby, you can take them to playground. This area is behind the main restaurant and lobby. Another playground is located near the birds park in backyard of hotel.

The Thousand Island with a thousand charms

I planned this journey since a couple years ago, but It could have implemented in the end of last year, exactly on 25 to 26 December 2011. What a surprise that finally we could go to the Thousand Island. My kids were so happy that they would be a vacation with their cousins. They didn’t stop asking who would be going? how long would we stay? Where islands would we visit? Etc. Silent kids! so many questions and I couldn’t answer all of its, coz I was busy with my stuffs! 

We went on Sunday morning at 08.30 a.m from Marina Ancol.  The fact was not only me and my family were going to the Thousand Island, but there were many groups also. Whether they were a family or friends or a couple.  When I looked around, I realized that my group had lots of luggage. Hehe…as if we would go for a week!  Kids, specially girls didn’t wanna standing beside the luggage! They felt a shame! Haha.. me? I didn’t care! As usual, I took it easy. I opened my luggage and took some meals. Waiting was a boring time, and it made me hungry!

We chartered a medium speed boat which has capacity for 25 passengers. My family was 22 persons, so it was enough, right? It had taken time for 40 minutes into Pulau TIdung. This was the first island we visited. This island is enough crowded. The island have lots of water sports, such as banana boat, cano, and sailing. There was a bridge into Pulau Tidung Kecil. The bridge is made from woods. Some has fragile and holes. We should be careful, because under this bridge was many ‘Bulu Babi’. Owh..It was not be danger or deathly, but it could make us scratchy! Yak..

There's something about Tomohon

I have never thought that finally I went to Manado, North Sulawesi. A place where people knows so many beautiful woman. I travelled to Manado with my friends. We visited our branch office. We had 3 days 2 nights over there. Leave on Thursday morning (15 December 2011) and return on Saturday morning (17 December 2011). Meanwhile, our schedule meeting with the Head of branch office was on Friday afternoon.

When we arrived in Sam Ratulangi Airport, many taxi drivers surrounded us. We just gave smile and said 'no, thanks!'. We had to make sure that we would choose a good driver with a good car. We didn't want what  happened in Palembang would happen in Manado! (hei..Did I ever tell you that we found a reckless driver in Palembang? yeah, we hired a young reckless driver. He is a college student who seeking additional income with being a driver of his friend's rental car. Basically, he is a good boy, familiar and polite. But when he brought a car, he changed to be a reckless! ups! ).

Finally, we choose one of driver who -by our feeling- he would be a good driver, not reckless driver! And I thought we choose a right person!. He is from Makasar who working in Manado. His wife is from Tomohon. Talking about Tomohon, there was something interesting over there. As people knows that Manado has many beautiful women. But in our view, no! not in Manado! Manado's girl looked same with others big city. But in Tomohon, this is it:  Not only woman, man also looks charming! wow! They have a good skin! We guessed because of Tomohon has a cold weather! Tomohon is as cold as Bandung. This city is surrounded by mountains and hills. That's why it's cold!

During in Manado, we visited to Bukit Kasih and Danau Tondano, enjoying Gunung Lokon, Gunung Manado Tua, Bunaken from the distance! We never felt bored to have dinner with Ikan bakar and Sambal dabu-dabu! One that I will never forget : eating fried banana with sambal!! can you imagine? sweet banana dipped into sambal?? waw......very delicious! and it was more perpect because we ate while enjoying the beauty of ocean, Gunung Manado Tua, and Bunaken far away.

Hm...what else? almost forgot to say that we stayed 2 nights at Swiss Bell Hotel. This hotel located at Jalan Jend Sudirman. It's strategic hotel! surrounded by minimart, restaurant, not far from ocean, beach, and shopping centre. We just walked into the beach around 15 minutes!! how far? around 1 kilometre..hehe! not far hugh? enough for your exercising in the afternoon! your tired will be less when you look at the beauty of ocean. In the beach you will find McDonald with its cozy place or maybe you wanna have dinner Ikan bakar? please feel free !

Unfortunately, we just had 2 days in Manado! 2 days were not enough for us traveling in Manado! We didn't yet visit Danau Linau or diving in Bunaken. Someday, I will be back to Manado!

Travel to Palembang

Hello everybody?? how are you? fine! I am still alive, safe and sound! hehe... I almost forgot that I have this blog! as usual..I was lazy, crazy, and baby-baby help me! xixixi...

Forget my crazy lazy, I wanna share my travelling to Palembang a month ago. I, Jasmine and my friends visited Palembang and spent 2 nights in Hotel Horison Palembang. This was my first time. I was pleased that Palembang  has developed so well. This showed us that fast growth  is not only happened in Jakarta and around areas. 

2 nights in Palembang enjoyed Jembatan Ampera, and the most popular foods : Tekwan and Pempek!!  Talking about 2 kinds foods, I was very surprised that people loves that foods so much! Everytime I saw they ate so much. whether it was morning or night! I said to my friend : seems  we never doing like that! eating Roti Unyil or Asinan Bogor every time? maybe I only eat once year! 

Beside Pempek and Tekwan, Palembang also has Sup Pindang Ikan Patin ! I was so excited tasted this sup! spicy, sour, hot and once is not enough for me! I really wanted to eat twice. A bowl of soup priced Rp35.000,-.

Night before we left, we visited Sungai Musi, Jembatan Ampera and Mesjid Agung. We -again- ate Pempek and Tekwan but we tried to enjoy it on the boat which has been changed into food stall. Hm...spending night on the boat, eating tekwan, enjoying lighting full colour Jembatan Ampera, it was amazing experience. We also took picture in front of Mesjid Agung. This place is right across main gate into Jembatan Ampera. Between two buildings there was coloured fountain. People likes to take a picture in that area, enjoying night with some meals or drinks, till dawn come.

Komodo in everywhere...

This morning, I didn't have full jobs, so I did blog walking. Some of blogs posting the same theme: Komodo! Hm..whether in blog world, nor in real life, everybody talking about this animal! Last friday, Mr. Arif Rachman (you know him, don't you?) before giving a lecture in my office, he also talked about it.

I don't need to tell too much about why so much people talking about Komodo? Nearly  a couple months , some advertisement have requested to vote Komodo island as one of  New 7Wonders. Now, one month before the voting is closed, invitation or request to vote Komodo more frequent! 

I have never been there, I only know this island by searching in Google image search. Looks that island is so natural and amazing. Having never get there, I can only imagine: when people landing there, Komodo and its friends will say "Welcome to our land!" (with stick its tongue - as usual).

I wish the island is not creepy like its habitat! its proof: Anang (Indonesian celebrity) and his children visited there with smiley  :D  Then, what souvenir we get from there? if  Bali has a statue or carving, from Komodo island I hope bring a baby Komodo, so  I can raise it in Bogor...

Anyway, for the sign of my loving to Komodo island, I had spread "Vote Komodo", and write down in my Google Talk as my custom message : "Vote for Komodo in 7Wonders. Please type "KOMODO" and send to 9818. cost only IDR 1....for sure!!"

The last sentence " ...cost only IDR 1.." I quote from my friend's blog! I had already voted and send to 9818. Unfortunately I forgot to check my HP's pulse before I sent it. So I don't know exactly, is that right only IDR 1 ? hehe..

Now, I am waiting for my friend's comments on my GoogleTalk. Sending a message or request by Gtalk, more effective getting many responses! Last week I spread Program:  turn off your mobile phone for 2 hours on Saturday,  many friends said "OK". Some of them said " let me think!" and one of my friends said: " I really wanna support that program, but unfortunately Saturday I wanna shopping with my family, and there I 'll go to CD shop, my wife will be in Supermarket, while my kids will be in book store! So, If I turn off, how can I call them? " ..hmm..

Lawang Sewu

Did I ever tell you about my vacation in Semarang ? Big No. I mean I forgot to post something about it. Since I 've been attacked by "boring virus"..I lost my idea to tell it. Ok, forget my silly mind! 

What or where is the best favorite place when I go to Semarang (let me introduce: this is my second home! my hubby is from here. So every Ied Mubarak I always come here). Back to my question, this is my answer: LAWANG SEWU. What??? is it creepy place, not recomennded for heart disease, Pregnant and nursing  mom... hihii..

First, I don't wanna tell you history Lawang Sewu. I think many people knows it! and you can find easily by Google's machine as soon as possible by write  "Lawang Sewu". Ok? deal.

I don't know why I am so like this place. Maybe because I am a kind of people having curiousity, likes  mistery, old and history. I've visited Lawang Sewu twice! Firstly I went around that place (except underground jail). But secondly, I only waited my kids (excluding Jasmine) in front of main gate. Kids were so happy  and excited. the great adventure for them: entering a creepy place in dusk time. Yes, we came over there in the evening. Imagine: a lighting in Lawang Sewu was not good. Sometimes the lights on and then suddenly off!  But this looks like a challenge for visitor, right? how long can you stay over there? meanwhile, we- specially my kids- took time for 1 hour, enough to make my heart beating! before they entered the building, I repeatedly reminded them to pray along the way. I was worry that 'something' bothering them and stayed in my kid's body (some people ever told me about this case!). But, Alhamdulillah...my kids were still Ok when they were out.

I was amazed because regional government took care Lawang Sewu in such way, so that place is worthy for tourist attraction! For entry ticket we charge Rp5000,- per person. And if you wanna entering and go around without getting lost, you must be accompanied by a guide, it's charge Rp30.000,-.

I recommend you to visit there in the evening. 'coz  it's more attractive and scary....Enjoy!

GURIH 7 Restaurant

Here I am..I am still alive , safe and sound! hehe..almost 1 month I left blogging world. I don't know why I feel so bored with blogging. Everybody told me that it's natural! Not all the time we like or love blogging. Sometimes, it looks boring, sometimes it looks great. It depends on your mood!

But for me, I almost forgot my blog since I 've got some silly stuffs in office. Beside that, I never go anywhere so that I don't have any idea to post something in my blog! Poor me. My family have been busy, they didn't have time to take vacation. Nor my office. Boss didn't give me a travel. grhh...

But fortunately, the rest of last week, one of my old sister celebrated their Anniversarry in a resto: GURIH  7. It's a family resto! Having a playground, fish pond, little waterfall ...amazing. Food? how about their foods? hm...enough delicious. but not too super! But for family gathering, this is a place I recommend! Welcome Home

During the Idul Fitri vacation, my PC got trouble. I couldn't do anything. No post, no read people's blog and I just spent my time  by reading books, reports and so on. Suddenly, Life was so boring! My CPU has been attacked by unidentify  virus! I called up our technician. He brought my CPU and repairing almost 2 weeks. Imagine? almost 2 weeks I felt so bored.

So, when my technician came with my CPU..I cheer up and many many thanks for his helps! Feels that I had lost my CPU a year,  I didn't wanna leave it again! I stayed on my desk in front of my PC. I miss my blog, miss my frends, miss my Gtalk... hehe..

So many story that I do not tell you yet. I wanna share in this blog. About my Idul Fitri, my traveling in Semarang, my culinere..Welcome home!

Thamrin City

Seems almost all people know this shopping center so well ! except me! poor me... (or lucky me?) Last friday, my fren asked me to accompany her. So, that 's the first time I visited there!

First, I told my self: all goods sale here surely be expensive! But, surprised... when we bought hijab and mukena, the price is right! hihi...So, over there I bought something not urgent and really..really suck, coz' out of my plans, just because I loved that price. What's the hell? My fren said  "don't be greedy, Sis! tommorow still coming, you don't have to buy everything today!" 

Thamrin City is used to be named JaCC (Jakarta Community Center). This place is not far from Tanah Abang. What I like from here? I can find out quite cheap Muslim clothes !! During the holy month, there are some various Muslim clothes. Want to have clothes like Ida Royani? you'll get it! or maybe like Syahrani? wohoho..of course not like in her video clip with Anang.... 

Thinking that I should buy something for my servants, I told my fren:  'before Idul Fitri- we must come here again! I have to buy hijab and mukena for my servant and my mother in law..."  Enough for today! Thanks God, I didn't move my banks onto my wallet! 

Ramadhan is different..

First of all, I can't stop keep saying "thanks God..thanks God, finally I meet again this holy month after almost 1 year waiting!" . Yeah..I 've been waiting this moment. When the end of last Ramadhan Year 2010, I told  my self: will I meet Ramadhan again? I don't know how long I will alive ? If God bless me, and permit me finding next holy month, I promise my self doing fasting much better and improving any kind of worship . And now, no wonder if I say I am so......happy welcoming this holy month! I don't know if there's some people saying that Ramadhan is too hard since we forbidden eating, drinking and doing any pleasure activity.

I think this is time for us introspection what we've done, what we've said. Does it make someone hurt and crying? if yeah,..please forgive. That's why before Ramadhan we're suggested to apologize to other. To me, it's a hard part! imagine? you should apologize to someone who you don't like or maybe they hurt you firstly. I mean,  it's not your fault but their fault! Do you wanna ask apologizing for something that 's not your wrong? 

Ramdhan is different, eventhough it always comes every year..but not of us will find it. Thanks God for this Ramadhan!

Rumah Air

Hufft,,...almost 1 month I have passed time posting here! what a busy day..so I couldn't write anything or posting something. I guess everybody who has visited here (hehe..I know I'm not a famous blogger., I just imagine if there are many visitors came here  hihi) and they got nothing new and special post here, so that made this blog is soo...boring! Ok..forgive me, I promise I will update as soon as I can.

Now, I wanna talk about Rumah Air. This place is near the Jungle Bogor. Hei..you know the Jungle? of course the Jungle is not a forest! the Jungle is only a name for water park in Bogor. Almost 2 years..(or more?) the Jungle is favorite water park. But now, I don't wanna talk about the Jungle! I wanna talk about Rumah Air as I said before. Rumah Air is a resto having playground, fishing pool, and outbound for children. Foods are quite delicious. Main course has Fish in various taste: grill, fried or steam. Complete! It's a kind of sundanese resto. that's why i like it! Lalap plus sambal ...and spicy mix vegetables, hm..yummy.

Beside foods, kids like this place since they could play ATV, fishing, and riding mini pedicab. How about prices? hm...for a place with many amenities, it seems reasonably if the price is rather expensive, right? moreover, I had lunch not everyday, just 1 day in 1 year..haha..
